I have to admit that I was a bit worried about getting stretch marks while pregnant. Yes, it’s been said that getting tiger stripes while pregnant is genetic, but I honestly believe there are certain things you can do to help prevent them. By eating right, staying within the normal weight gain range, and keeping myself hydrated inside and out, I didn’t get a single stretchmark while carrying both my kids. It’s important to find a cream that you’ll be happy to use at least twice a day to keep your tummy and thighs moisturized as they gain weight to accommodate the little human within.
If I had discovered MORRISON STRETCHMARK COLLAGEN BODY CREAM while I was pregnant I think this would have been part of my beauty arsenal.
This white cream is thick enough to provide moisture but doesn’t leave a greasy feeling, trust me when I say that this is a big plus when you’re searching for a stretchmark cream because you don’t want to stain your clothes every time you apply it or get hot because your skin can’t breathe through the oil slick.
Another plus is that this cream has a very light berry fragrance. Pregnant women are super sensitive to smell and anything overpowering might make you feel nauseas. And because you should also be super careful of what you use on your body when pregnant, this cream is hypoallergenic and paraben free. It also lists purified water as its first ingredient.
The only downside I could find to this cream is that it lists mineral oil as its second ingredient. I would have preferred that it had grape-seed oil, which is loaded with good-for-you vitamin E as one of its first ingredients instead of making it one of its last. Aside from that, I loved this cream and have actually begun enjoying using it on my hands and feet at night.
I would recommend this cream if you’re looking for a stretchmark cream
