August 2018 opened with a movement that we’re celebrating this entire month, while having #CalyxtaGirl, Gabbi Garcia, front and center as our morena muse. As loud and as proud as we are of all the morena beauties we encounter everyday, it’s the same love and passion we have for Beauty itself, and the importance of it. Some might argue that it’s not as important, and shouldn’t be prioritized compared to other things, but we completely disagree—because beauty matters! It matters when a red lipstick and bold brows can give you the confidence to present without fear in a room full of board members, or when a serum and moisturizer you saved up for make you love and appreciate your skin even more.
It all matters, and there’s nothing wrong that it does—which is why we spent the first half of 2018 curating products and narrowing the list down to see which of those we’ve tried and tested ourselves have changed ours and our customers’ lives!
