Grecian Goddess

Nothing speaks regal and captivating more than this theme. Make it come alive by playing with your white and gold accents incorporating subtle hints of Greek elements such as the eminent laurel wreath that is made of interlocking branches and leaves of the bay laurel.

An important custom in Greek weddings is the Koufeta, which are sugar-coated almonds that symbolize the bittersweet life of a married couple. As explained on the Manhattan Bride, “The white of the almond symbolizes purity, the almond’s egg shape represents fertility, and the almond’s hardness personifies the endurance of the marriage. The sweet sugar then suggests the sweetness of married life.”

Keep makeup look neutral and match it with a playful messy up-do. Nothing too neat and sleek!
