Bridal Souvenirs Your Guests Will Absolutely Love

Fun fact, dearest brides: No one likes bridal souvenirs. Admit it. You were a guest at weddings and never did you appreciate those instant photos that washed you out, those ceramic figurines, or even those beautiful towels monogrammed with the couple’s new initials. So we’ll tell you now to use your money for your honeymoon instead.

Okay, you may know no one likes souvenirs but you still want your guests to have something tangible to remember the day. We asked friends and family for their favorite wedding souvenirs and here are their no-fail ideas:

Food

“My cousin and her husband love chocolate so naturally, they gave us all chocolate. The wrapper was customized to look like a Hershey bar but the brand name was their family name. It was really cute!” -Hannah

“I loved the organic chocolate chip oatmeal cookies the bride and groom baked together. They wrapped it up in simple brown paper bags with their photo pasted on it and a thank you note on the twine.” -Lulu

“My friends met in the UK so their wedding souvenirs were a basket of British goodies like a tin of tea and biscuits, caramels and jelly candies, short bread and preserves. I thought of them every time I had breakfast!” -Ronnie

Useful Things

The trouble with souvenirs is they become dust-gatherers, sitting forgotten on the shelf. So make yours memorable by making it useful.

“My friend got married in the summer so we got a fan each as we entered the church. The bridesmaids distributed pink to the girls and gray to the guys, but I grabbed a gray one! The best part is the couple’s names or wedding details weren’t printed on the fan, so I still use it.” -Bessy

“My favorite souvenirs were organic soaps and fluffy towels, journals with pens, picture frames, and bookmarks. I still use them and think of my friends when I do.” -Alana

“My sister got married at the beach and we all got Havaianas slippers!” -Patricia

Experiences

A gift that keeps on giving is something your guest will enjoy over and over again, even after the wedding day is done.

“My friend’s bride loves to bake so they gave us a goody basket filled with ingredients for a chocolate chip cookie with their ‘Top Secret: Best Ever Choco Chip Cookie Recipe!’ I finally tried it and gave some to my crush. He loved it and now we’re together! Best souvenir hands down!!!” -Trixie

“My mom had a small destination wedding in London and her new husband surprised us all with tickets to West End!” -Marla

“Well, this is kind of silly but my brother gave us a mix tape of their favorite songs. He said it traces the journey of their love story, from panliligaw to the wedding. Of course, since wala nang cassette tape players ngayon, he put the tracks in a USB stick na heart-shaped. Ang corny pero nakakatuwa kasi we not only enjoyed the love songs in their list but we also got an intimate glimpse into their love story.” -Sheryl
