Every wedding is the beginning of a grand story, and Crimson Hotel Filinvest City, in partnership with Wedding Essentials Magazine and fashion designer, Francis Libiran, invited couples to write the first chapter of the rest of their lives at the Beginnings Bridal Showcase. The one-day affair exhibited breathtaking displays of themed weddings held at Alabang’s premier hotel, and was highlighted by a fashion show featuring Francis Libiran’s latest bridal collection, Affair de Coeur.
Throughout the day, guests were taken on a tour of the different bridal showcases. For couples enchanted by a romantic wedding setting, the Dainty theme, with its classic and feminine touches of peach and blush combined with the regal color of gold or champagne, was the ideal reception setup. The Crimson Posh theme, on the other hand, displayed a wedding reception set amidst a backdrop of deep red roses, and sparkling lights romantically adorning the whole area. Table centerpieces were bursting with crimson roses, crystal décor, and silver accents. For those looking for a theme that’s more intimate and idyllic without losing its luxe feel, the Country theme is perfect, combining wood accents and bountiful floral arrangements with the charm of earth-toned décor.
As for the wedding itself, there was no better backdrop than the blue skies. The Deck was converted into an al fresco ceremony, with refreshing and elegant floral arrangements that conveyed a cheerful daytime wedding ceremony or a dreamy evening celebration.
The Beginnings Fashion Show was graced by soon-to-wed couples, friends from the media, online influencers, celebrities, and trendsetters. Crimson Hotel’s General Manager, Gerhard Doll, presided the opening of the show, followed by the presentation of the Events Team.
The first half of the fashion show unveiled Francis Libiran’s bridal collection, with 10 stunning gowns that left the guests wanting to see more. The couture collection, also with 10 exquisite pieces and was headlined by Vickie Rushton, Kylie Verzosa and her escort Markki Stroem, was inspired by Parisian architecture and the foliage that lined its picturesque streets, as seen in the gowns’ meticulously-crafted embroidery. The dresses, made of luxurious Chantilly lace, Duchess satin, and Mikado silk, flowed beautifully with each model’s step. Each gown was constructed with Libiran’s signature minimalism, with every line designed to bring out the best in a woman’s personal shape, allowing her to look flawless in any setting.
