We asked our beauty contributors for some beauty tips they want to share with their future grandchildren and this is what they said:
“Invest in a good skincare system. This is your face we are talking about, no need to cut corners here. Be sure to use a cleanser, serum, moisturizer that is suited for your skin type. Also, our skin changes as we age. What worked for you in your twenties might not in your thirties. Don’t be afraid to try new things.”

“Drink plenty of water: aside from cleansing our bodies, water hydrates our skin and keeps it glowing and healthy. It sounds simple, but it is something I try to do for myself everyday. Always cleanse your face before going to bed. Nurture your inner beauty: what is essential is invisible to the eye. Having a kind heart is real beauty that never fades.“

“Beauty tip I would share with my future granddaughters would be to always wear sunblock even on cloudy days, to choose water over any sugary drink in restaurants, and to never ever sleep with your makeup on.”

“The beauty tip I’d like to share with my grandkids is to start moisturising young. Develop a good skincare regimen. I used to watch my mom apply her face cremes religiously when I was small but it was my sister who encouraged me to start using moisturisers & eye creme when I was in my early twenties. I look at how my mom has matured and I hope that I will age as gracefully as she has. I am sure her skincare has a lot to do with it.”
