If I had to choose only three products to bring on a deserted island, one of those products would definitely be an eyebrow pencil. I’ve always had rather sparse brows so it’s a must for me to fill them in—otherwise, I feel like my entire face looks washed out.
During my years as a beauty editor with Preview magazine, I’ve reviewed countless eyebrow products. So far, the only one that has really stood the test of time is L’Oreal’s Brow Artist which I’ve been using for maybe close to a decade now.
I was eager to try out the Malissa KISS Super Shape Ultra HD Brow Pencil because I’ve been on the hunt for a brow pencil that will give me the same wonderful results as L’Oreal’s Brow Artist. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got to try out this pencil because for one, it’s retractable! That means I never have to worry about it being dull, and there’s no longer a need to bring a sharpener when I travel. Another thing I love about it is its slanted shape—this made it easy to draw and fill in my brows. I noticed that the formulation of the product is a bit on the waxy side, and this is great for keeping stray hairs in place. It comes in two colors, too: mocha for girls with light brown hair and choco for a darker, more defined brow. I’m definitely going to include this in my arsenal of brow products!
