I am not one to wear eyeshadow on a daily basis but when I do I want to make sure it lasts all day looking great. With the sudden flood of makeup primers for pretty much every part of your face, some would think another primer just for your eyelids would be a superfluous extra step.
I have been a long time Urban Decay fan and their products never disappoint. Their eyeshadow primer is also a cult favorite so I expect something miraculous from this product for it to be added as an extra step. After applying moisturizer let it sink in for at least 10 minutes then apply your face primer then your eyelid primer. I also like to give this a few minutes to sink in before applying my makeup. Once your primer has set you skin is ready to whatever makeup you apply to it next.
Urban Decays Eyeshadow Primer comes in a variety of finishes but for every their original translucent formula dries clear and matte with a slightly sticky finish to help eyeshadows adhere better. Pigments also appear more vibrant. If you have a problem with oily eyelids this is your solution. My eyeshadow stayed put with zero creasing even after 8 hours of sweat and oil throughout a sunny day outdoors.
