From matte nails and lippies to setting sprays and foundation (We can’t stand too much shine on our face!), beauty buys that provide matte-finish have infilitrated the beautiverse these past couple of years. As attractive and eye-catching as the no-gloss makeup can be, we’ve got to be careful because there’s a risk of looking dull with too much use of matte products.
Staying mindful to spice up your look is important. Adding a little touch of a nice highlighter could make your look a little bit more exciting. However, if you’re looking for a complete matte-finish face, City Color’s Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon will definitely set your desired look.
This City Color’s Be Matte Blush is true to its name – meaning, it’s definitely matte. Not a single hint of shimmer was on the apples of my cheeks after brushing it on. Fresh Melon is a great natural blush color – not too pink and not red. For those wanting a real feel flushed look every day, they got the shade right here.
The blush is economical, too! A little goes a long way – you won’t have to pack on the blush which helps with the more natural rosy cheek look. But, if you do want a more attention-grabbing look, using more Be Matte Blush goes on smooth and blends very well.
Most importantly, the blush lasts. Well, it lasted throughout my work day which included walking through the city for lunch, and getting rained on with no umbrella. So, that’s pretty impressive.
Would I add this blusher to my makeup kit? Most definitely. It’s good for everyday use, plus it’s pigmented enough to keep handy for more outgoing and creative looks. The City Color’s Be Matte Blush is perfect for the wishy washy kind of beauty junkie (like me) who wears a natural look one day and a bold one the next.
