Channel some early 90s vibes at work with a pale and pretty purple eye look. Using the medium shade (right) in the Rimmel Glam Eyes Quad Eyeshadow in “Smokey Purple”, sweep the color all over your lids with a fluffy, shadow brush. Line underneath both your eyes and lower lash line with the same color using a more precise brush. Subtly define eyes by applying the darkest shade (top) along the crease, outer corner, and under the lower lash line, on top of the previous color. Finally, lightly blend away any harsh edges on the crease and outer corner.
You only need two colors to achieve this universally flattering eye. Pick up the peacock blue shade from the Rimmel Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow Palette (Colour Edition) palette with your ring finger and apply all over the lids. Then with a clean and small shadow brush, blend the edges upwards and outwards into a soft finish. With another clean and precise brush, highlight the inner corners of your eyes with the creamy white shade. For a bolder look, apply the same white shade just underneath the brow bone. Blend wherever both colors meet until they become a soft gradient.
To rock a more mature and less girly pink eyeshadow look, use the Rimmel Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow Palette (Crimson Edition), select the magenta shade (4th from left), and apply all over your lids and slightly above the crease. With a thin, angled brush and the same color, create a sharp wing and line underneath the eyes. Next, pick up the third darkest shade (3rd from right) and apply towards the outer half of your lids only. Blend softly where both colors meet. Using the same thin, angled brush, create a small wing just underneath the first, then line underneath your eyes again over the magenta.
If you want to keep things simple but still fun, stick to one bold color like our latest cover girl, Issa Pressman. Pack your shadow brush with the bright, yellow shade from the Rimmel Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow Palette (Thunderstorm Edition) and sweep all over eyes. Use the same brush to soften harsh lines or edges. Leave as is, or define eyes a little by lining just the upper lash line with the palette’s darkest shade using a sharp, angled liner brush.
With the Rimmel Magnif’Eyes Eyeshadow Palette (Jewel Rocks Edition) palette on hand, cover just the lids with the medium green shade (6th from left) with your ring finger or a small, shadow brush. Push the darkest green (5th from left) into the crease and outer corner of your eye and blend both shades into a seamless gradient. Blend the outer corner softly outwards to extend the eye. Don’t forget to line underneath eyes with the dark green, too. Lastly, highlight the center of your lids and the inner corner with the lightest shade in the palette.
