Nails are certainly one part your beauty regimen that require a fair amount of upkeep to look fab, because we all know there is nothing quite as unsexy as chipped unkempt nails.
Aside from your standard polishes to give them a bit of vava-voom, there are also nail accessories and fun designs that you can play with. If you feel that placing stickers and jewelry on your nails is a little too teenybopper for your taste, fret not. There are a number of accessories now that are actually stylish and classy.
1. Shimmer it up: Start with a neutral opaque base, and then shimmer it up with a thick coat of gold and silver in various designs on each finger. The result is still soft enough to avoid too much attention, but always complimented when finally seen.
2. Go Geometric: Instead of using stickers that have cartoon characters or little hearts, keep it classy by going geometrical. Lines, whether in stickers or painted on the nails, can be so beautiful when put into a pattern. Keep colors soft and neutral, paired with splashes of white.
3. Use Glitter Sparingly: Glitter can actually add a really cute touch to your nails if you don’t go overboard. We love this idea of just one white nail in a pastel series being coated with a little bit of glitter for a surprise.
4. Crystals To Be Used Wisely:Crystals have a way of making something look tacky or gaudy almost instantly. So opt to use them in a design that makes you appreciate the color than the diamond-like form. We love this example of an Indian design on the nails using colored crystals.
