There are times when a dandruff shampoo just won’t do the job. This is when you turn to a scalp scrub to fix the problem. Baking soda OR epsom salt to the rescue. Not only are either cheap but can be found just about in any supermarket. When dissolved with water, they both act as a natural scrub that takes care of flakes and scalp itch. Epsom salt also acts as a home remedy for exczema and many skin problems. A word of caution though: regular use will make you grow tolerant so it’s important to use either two solutions as a clarifying solution rather than an everday shampoo. If you like the squeaky clean feeling baking soda gives, you can mix a tablespoon with your shampoo every time you wash your hair. Just make sure it is completely dissolved in the mixture.
