As one of the event sponsors, Calyxta was provided a booth where, together with our brand sponsors—Angel Skin Soap, SKIN by John Robert Powers, and Grace Cosmetics, we were able to give more than 200 girls gift bags to start their beauty journey.
Calyxta recently collaborated with It’s A Girl’s Thing, an annual event that brings together a lineup of inspiring Filipinas, most of which are social media influencers, to deliver powerful and insightful talks and performances, and share their life experiences, to hopefully educate and empower teenage girls everywhere.
Apart from the booth, Calyxta also opened the show with a makeup tutorial care of our Managing Editor and Certified Makeup Artist, Gretchen Gatan, who demonstrated a fresh, 5-minute makeup look on the beautiful Mikaela Martinez.
Hosted by Suzy Gamboa and Bea Benedicto, the main event included panels and performances from international figures like LianeV, Megan Batoon, Meredith Foster, and Asia Jackson, and local superstars like Solenn Heussaff, Dani Barretto, AC Bonifacio, and Calyxta’s very own October cover girls, Janina Vela and Hannah Pangilinan.
It was definitely an event that showed how powerful it can be when women support each other, empower each other, and fix each other’s crowns.
