Ahhh, Fresh Beauty. It’s the brand you’ll want to bask yourself in. Think beauty, skin, and pampering products made from nature’s best elements, lovingly made to indulge you. The Tita in me is awakened.
Created by Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg in 1991, the brand began with the goal to transform everyday routines into what they call “sensorial rituals.” And by this alone, I am already sold to the core. After all, I am one who is perked up by the sizzle and fizzle of ice cold Coke, the inviting steam of spicy instant ramen, the aroma of brewed coffee, and the list goes on.
What I also love about the brand is its homage to the centuries-old, cultural bathing rituals, such as the Japanese geisha’s use of milky water that comes from what was used to rinse rice before cooking, and Cleopatra’s obsession of bathing in rose essence. I love how these rituals bring us back to what could perhaps be considered the most lavish spa experiences in the olden times.
It all began with their signature oval soaps, which they wrapped in fancy artisanal paper, tied together with a delicate wire, and finished the little package adorned with a semi-precious stone. Their products were Instagrammable even before Instagram was a thing! But seriously, not only do the soaps make great gifts for your co-titas and the rest of the bunch, it’s the kind of gift you’ll want for yourself, too (at least I do!).
What I personally can’t wait to try are: the Soy Face Cleanser (extra gentle! great for all skin types!), the pore-refining Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner for healthy-looking skin, and their best-selling Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15. And as you may have guessed it, these are all available to shop on the site! I highly recommend you gift one for yourself Fresh Beauty products now before it runs out.
Beyond pretty packaging, the pair also makes sure to use in their products only what’s nourishing and good for you. Their most notable ones are the Brown Sugar Body Polish, the first-ever sugar exfoliant; and the Sake Bath, which is the first soak in the market that contains 50% sake.
