According to Maia Ang, Product Manager of Maybelline Philippines, the reformulated Hypercurl mascara has now a more lightweight gel formula and is 100% irritation and smudge-proof.
During the morning session of the #Mustcara social, beauty and fashion editors from different publications showed their beauty skills by doing their own interpretation of the different looks prepared for them.
They were divided into three groups – day, night, and fun/colorful looks – and were asked to create their own make up on the face charts given to them, using Maybelline’s most loved products, before doing the look on themselves. Julia Arenas of BlessMyBag won the Best Face Chart award, taking home a gift bag from Maybelline.
For the afternoon session, bloggers and lucky Calyxta subscribers got the chance to learn the basics from make up expert Say Artillero. Say chose one among the attendees and gave an on-the-spot tutorial using Maybelline products with the Hypercurl as the star product.
Guests of both sessions had the chance to pose and smize for fashion photographer, Nikki Ruiz.
The guests also had the chance to have their portraits made by two watercolor portrait artists, Arlene Sy and Tasha Llorente.
