UNIQLO is easily becoming a fashion staple in the local scene with its thoughtfully-designed apparel lines that make every day wear more comfortable without sacrificing quality and style. Their LifeWear clothing has clearly stayed true to its Japanese values of simplicity, quality, and longevity.
Last July 27, 2017, UNIQLO held a special preview launch of their Fall/Winter 2017 collection at One Canvas Events Place in which they showcased their newest collaboration with British fashion label, JW Anderson—the biggest highlight of the launch where British heritage meets LifeWear in style. Excitingly, the new collection includes both menswear and womenswear!
It also includes the eighth edition of UNIQLO’s collaboration with French fashion icon, Inès de la Fressange, who finally launched her first line of menswear. New to the range are vintage style sports knits, sweaters, jackets, and elegantly-designed military coats!
It was a different kind of fashion show as they gave the audience a full 360-degree experience of all their beautiful collections—from their essential pieces down to the special collaborations and seasonal highlights.
They ended the show with a stunning surprise as Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach, graced the runway in UNIQLO’s Ultra-Light Down jacket, High Waisted Skirt, AIRism Leggings, and HEATTECH Turtle Neck.
UNIQLO’s F/W 2017 collection comes out in stores this October 2017! Go ahead and visit your favorite branch to update your wardrobe with these essentials. We at the Calyxta HQ definitely can’t wait to get our hands on their simple yet functional pieces.
