The world of K-Beauty is like an endless well of treasure, and no matter how many brands we try here at the office, there always seems to be more to find—and I LOVE that! As a beauty dork with an insatiable appetite for cosmetics and a borderline concerning impulse to buy pretty things, I always get giddy at the thought of new products to play with and new recommendations to give all of you! Without further ado, let’s get into the four newest K-Beauty brands we have on Calyxta (and what you need to add to your cart ASAP)!

First thing’s first: this brand’s packaging is STUNNING. All their goodies are so picturesque and ‘Gram-able that it took so much willpower for me not to buy one as soon as it came to our conference table! Aside from beautiful packaging, this brand devotes itself to studying the skin care benefits of flowers in order to help every woman accentuate their own natural beauty. They’re so obsessed with bringing forth the vitality of flowers (since 1991 too, so you know that they know their stuff!) that they even discovered Blossoming Energy ™—an ingredient that combines the core energy of flowers and reinforces it with the natural power of the skin, keeping it in the best condition possible! To put it simply, it helps the skin stay hydrated, strengthens its natural protective barriers against environmental aggressors, and contains anti-oxidizing properties to keep the skin radiant and healthy. One of their most popular finds is their Rose Water Toner, and as a sucker for rosewater’s healing and hydrating properties myself, I just can’t wait to get my hands on this!

I find Huxley to be such an interesting brand. Firstly, the name literally comes from the author of one of the most compelling novels I have ever had the pleasure of reading: Aldous Huxley, author of Brave New World. The novel revolves around the idea of the protagonist rediscovering humanity, and in some ways, I can see how Huxley (the brand) encapsulates that; with innovative products using otherwise unknown ingredients, Huxley creates products that not only value the natural properties of our skin first, but discovers solutions and beauty trends that propel our skin care even further. With their star ingredient being Sahara prickly pear cactus seed oil—an ingredient that goes through a meticulous process to obtain—these products contain high amounts of vitamin E, antioxidants, amino acids, vitamin K, and more! This means that this ingredient works wonders for calming inflammation, protecting the skin from sun and environmental damage, stimulating collagen production, and brightening hyperpigmentation.
