My Calyxta K-Beauty Wishlist

Sometimes, I wish I had more than one face to experiment on—at least when it comes to different makeup and skin care brands. This way, I’d be able to use my beauty staples but at the same time, try other trending or cult-favorite products that just have no place at the moment in my already long and complicated skin care routine. This routine includes triple cleansing with an oil-based makeup remover, micellar water, and facial wash, applying toner, using an eye cream, patting on an essence and then a serum, and locking everything in with a moisturizing cream. Don’t get me started on all the masks I use once or twice a week, which range from detoxifying my skin to giving it extra hydration.

Of all the emerging beauty brands and products available on Calyxta, the ones I’m most curious to try are the products under our Korean category—so I’ve decided to add them to my mental K-Beauty Wishlist. This way, if ever I can eventually find room for them in my current skin care routine, I’ll add them to my cart right away.

Here are the ones I’m willing to spend my money on, and why.

It’s a Vitamin C serum that energizes and rejuvenates the skin, gives you a natural kind of glow, and helps lighten sun spots and acne scars. It can even help remove blackheads, and tightens your pores while boosting collagen production!

Because it’s the summer, and I’ve been hitting our family beach house a lot, I’ve been eyeing this product to help soothe my skin after being exposed under the sun for long hours. Aside from soothing irritated skin, it can also fade acne scars, brighten your skin tone, and keep skin healthy and moisturized.

I’ve heard so many innovative things about snail slime, and this toner, which contains Snail Secretion Filtrate, gives the skin protection and nutrition, and helps with the skin’s vitality. It also prevents aging, which is always plus points in my book!

I’ve never tried exfoliating with a gauze or a pad before, so this is something I’m really curious to try! Aside from being a manual exfoliator, the green tea is rich in antioxidants and promotes clearer and brighter skin.

If you read the article I wrote on 5 alternatives to Aztec’s Indian Healing Clay Mask, I included Innisfree’s Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask in that list! It claims to minimize pores, control sebum, exfoliate, deep cleanse, brighten, and cool down the skin—so with all these benefits, it’s definitely worth adding to my K-Beauty Wishlist.
