Pixi is a cosmetic line created by UK-based makeup artist and mom Petra Strand over 10 years ago. It prides itself on being a no fuss, affordable makeup brand that makes you look pretty without going all crazy with color.
Their tinted brilliance balm offers your lips just the right amount of moisture and a pop of color for that perfects everyday looks. I was asked to review Rosy Red which is the most pigmented of all the shades but still isn’t opaque. It’s a friendly red shade that is flattering for most skin tones.
The color stayed on quite nicely for the first hour I had it on and even as it wiped away slightly, it still left my lips looking flushed and pretty for another few hours. That’s because this balm has a unique PH reactive quality that adjusts to work with my own lip color and stain it. How cool is that?
I would recommend giving this product a try if:
1. You’re looking for a moisturizing balm that has just the right amount of color without being too opaque.
2. You don’t want to spend too much.
3. You’re looking for something to flatter your personal lip color.
4. You’re looking for something that doesn’t require any upkeep. Just twist, spread, and go.
